Our Milestones

Moving from Kalafat region to Gümüşsuyu Street in Topkapı, Istanbul, with the title of Kartal Press.

The beginning of the mechanization years took place from this year. Our first mechanical machine, made with the facilities of our company, was manufactured this year.

The mechanization process continued with hydraulic machines. During these years, our current chairman of the board, Mr. Mehmet Ali KARTAL started his business life at a young age and took part in the management of the company.

Mehmet KARTAL, the founder of our company, passed away in June. R.I.P

The process of moving from Gümüşsuyu street to Akın street No: 8 in Istanbul Bayrampaşa was completed. 

With the purchase of hydraulic press and flanging machine from abroad, technological investments began to increase.

The purchase of a 50000m2 open area land in Dilovası Organized Industrial Zone, where most of our current activity takes place, has been made. Again in the same year, on 17 December, “KARTAL BOMBE UNITELERI SANAYİ TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ” was established.

With the purchase of the 1000-ton press, our production capacity was increased in diameters of 6 meters and above.

Our branch, which was located in Istanbul Bayrampasa on this date, moved to the İkitelli Demirciler OIZ region with the titles of " Güven Dished Head" and "Güçlü Bending".

Turkey's largest heat treatment furnace with a capacity of 100 tons started to work in our facility.

By making machining investments, we have all the molds, equipment, etc. we need machine manufacturing especially in our own structure. (Before this date, machining was being done outside the company on a contract basis)

Kartal Flanging Machine Industry, with the title of that day, opened our second factory, which is the İmes Branch of KBS today.

Sphere tank for demo purposes was manufactured with a volume of 300m³ to advertise the investments that we made for the production of spherical tanks.

The "R&D Center" of KBS with a total closed area of 300m² was opened.

We started to work to increase our indoor capacity to 30.000m².
